Part Time Nanny/Mother’s Help

Bishopthorpe, York

To start end of Oct 2026 – initially until end Feb 2027

Tues, Wed, Thurs – 6- 8 hours each day (flexible for nanny to choose hours in day)

1 baby aged 6 weeks at start of role

This family are looking for an experienced, diligent part-time nanny/mother’s help to assist with care of their new born and to help keep the home running smoothly.  Mum is self employed and will be working during some of the time (at home).  

Duties will include – feeding, nappy changes, settling for naps, tummy time, gentle play, pram walks, following the routines and keeping parents updated through the day.  As mum works from home, she will be present for feeds as required.  

When time allows (around nap times), help in the house would be appreciated.  Duties to include – washing baby items, keeping the nursery clean and safe, general cleaning, laundry, tidying, light meal preparation
for the family, and basic errands.

Genuine experience with very young babies and a careful, attentive approach are essential.  The family are looking for someone they can trust completely and who uses good judgement and initiative around a
new born.

Driver with own car would be beneficial
